Working in the back of an equipment rack is truly a back of the bus experience. The Matrox BOB changes all that, giving immediate access to all required connectors comfortably at the user's fingertips, and in front of the video editing screen. Accessing a plethora of connection possibilities is now a solution delivered to professional video editors.
A precision mechanical cam extraction arm on the back surface allows users to swap daughter boards at home, without sending the unit in for an upgrade. This has provided a boost in customer satisfaction as they can effectuate this very delicate task even if unskilled. It also helps reduce cost of this upgrade enormously. An ultra-precise cam lever ensures the delicate micro alignment of mating connectors and super fast precision installation of the new board.
VERSATILE
The “Tri-configuration” leaves choice to the user to mount the Matrox BOB flat on their desk by using the snap out support as shown, vertically using the desktop mount support as shown above, or the user may affix BOB to a standard 2RU rack mount.
